What made you think of creating this forum, David? Great idea, by the way. There isn't anything else in my life at the moment that makes me "waste" so much time.

There isn't anything else in my life at the moment that makes me "waste" so much time.I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing :)

I decided to create the forums because I wanted a place for people to discuss languages and specifically English & Spanish. And I thought it was something good to go along with the dictionary.

I meant the "waste time" comment as a good thing.

María waste time indica malgasto de tiempo.
Es mejor usar pastime.:)

Incidentally, do you what is meant when Americans say "Our national pastime?" (It will make you laugh when you find out.)

I said waste of time on purpose, Poli. I was trying to be funny. Unsuccessfully I see.;)

Yes "wasting time" usually is used in a negative sense, but I figured you were making a joke, you :pelota:.

I've moved the get/got discussion to it's own thread (http://forums.tomisimo.org/showthread.php?t=1420). Moví la conversación sobre get y got a su propio hilo (http://forums.tomisimo.org/showthread.php?t=1420).
