I heard this this morning but I didn't quite catch it.

Liberado means that you can usedifferent cards with it, vodaphone, movistAr, amena, orange etcc... As opposed to those which are not librerados that you are stick to just one company.

Sorry, there must be an English word like 'transferrable' or 'untied' or 'transportable', but I don't know.

Disposable phones......card phones.....pre-paid card phones.....
Can't remember what other term I've heard.

I agree. Unlocked is the word I've seen for that.
