Tengo una pregunta sobre el imperfecto y el preterito:

Cuales frases son correctos? Por cada uno elige la forma correcto - vivía o viví:

Pocos años antes (vivía/viví) en el Ecuador

Pocos años antes (vivía/viví) en el Ecuador por dos meses

Pocos años antes (vivía/viví) en el Ecuador por un poco tiempo

Also, there are two gender agreement mistakes and the word "preterito" needs an accent. Try correcting them. ;)

Cuales frases son correctas? Por cada uno elige la forma correcta - vivía o viví:

Pocos años antes (vivía) en el Ecuador [I chose the imperfect because the end time is generalized and not specific]

Pocos años antes (viví) en el Ecuador por dos meses (I changed this to use the simple past because I felt the end was specified more explicitly - i.e. for 2 months, am I right?)

Pocos años antes (vivía) en el Ecuador por un poco tiempo

You only need to add the opening question mark and the accent to "Cuales" and it will be perfect.

Your answers are right. The first one accepts both tenses, but your answer is well justified, so leave it like that. :good:
Your last sentence is the same case as the second one. :)
