I relax commenting on the day with my husband.
Is this Ok?
I relax talking about my day with my wife.
which one is good?

The 2nd is more common. I would actually phrase it as follows:

I relax by talking about my day with my wife.

'To comment' is often understood as a very short response, such as 'she commented on her husband's behaviour the previous evening.' It is unlikely to involve a long discussion, so not really something to relax to.

That's an interesting "false friend" nuance, because in Spanish "comentar" normally will have the idea of expressing personal opinions or simply tell about something, or say something. In soccer, "comentamos la jugada" (more or less briefly) or "comentamos el partido..." (and that may take an hour or more...)

Yes it is interesting. You can have a 'running commentary' for a football match, but usually 'to comment' is nearer to 'make a short remark'.

Others may disagree
