How about the word "seal" as in something forming a tight seal around something else?

As a verb, I would use sellar or or cerrarse bien / sellar hermèticamente etc.

sello - seal

tight seal - sello ajustado

I think in Spain they use precinto for an official seal.

I´ve also heard sello used.

Thanks, everyone. I think I will use sello, and I am not sure why that didn't occur to me before. I am used to saying that "la boca del bebe tiene que abarcar todo el pezon" pero creo que voy a añadir "formando un sello ajustado.":thumbsup:
