You can't have two conjugated verbs in the same phrase. Does 'appeared was' make sense in English? Remove 'was'.
"Escuché algo, una figura oscura de dos dimensiones apareció frente de mí."

:D

What Spanish writing did you prefer, this threads Spanish (that I wrote); or the other thread that I posted about that girl?

Saludos.

"Estaba oscuro. Tomé control de mis pensamientos y mente con gran esfuerzo, que me dejó temblando. Como en otras veces estaba soñando. Esperé algunos segundos – no lo sé. Pasó algo y me volví a ir. Escuché algo, una figura oscura de dos dimensiones apareció frente de mí."

Should be no errors now. :)

Are you doing that on purpose?!?

You just reconnected two words.

en frente de (in front of - facing the same direction)
enfrente de (in front of - facing the same direction)
delante de (in front of, facing the same direction)
frente a (in front of, facing you)

Sometimes these can all mean the same thing. It very much depends on the object's position and yours.

Which is the one you want to use?
(And please don't connect it to the verb.)

The first one. :)

Gracias. :)

Why is it connected to the verb?

I'm not sure.

It's possible that you are not seeing the same thing I am because you may be using a different browser.
I just checked your text and found that it contains formatting ([font], to be specific). If I remove that formatting, I see that you have a space between the verb 'apareció' and the adverbial phrase 'en frente de mí'.

Good enough.
