Una pregunta tonta que la gente le pregunta mucho en los EE.UU. es;
Has this ever happended to you?

Has this ever happended to you?No, but I remember David Beckham, when asked about their first child, said "We haven't yet decided which religion he is going to be chistened into".:D:D

I lived in Germany for some years and had huge problems whenever I had to complete some application form, especially once when marrying a Catholic girl. Because every form had a field for religion, which was either Catholic or Protestant, and there was no third choice. Your were not allowed to be an atheist or Muslim.
Yet the Church of England (from wiki)
... developed the understanding that the church was to be both Catholic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Marks_of_the_Church) and Reformed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Reformation):
Catholic in that it views itself as a part of the universal church of Jesus Christ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_Christ) in unbroken continuity with the early apostolic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostolic_Age) church. This is expressed in its emphasis on the teachings of the early Church Fathers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_Fathers), as formalised in the Apostles' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostles_Creed), Nicene (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicene_Creed), and Athanasian creeds (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athanasian_creed).[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_England#cite_note-cofe.anglican.org-7)
Reformed in that it has been shaped by some of the doctrinal principles of the 16th century Protestant Reformation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protestant_Reformation), in particular in the Thirty-Nine Articles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thirty-Nine_Articles) and the Book of Common Prayer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Common_Prayer).[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_England#cite_note-cofe.anglican.org-7)
I had huge problems trying to explain this to the local German priest where I was getting married. He wanted proof that I had at least been baptized as something. I had indeed been baptized, but had no proof because the church had been flattened by a German bomb a day after the event, so there were no records. He failed to see the funny side.:lol::lol:

Even we the Spaniards have to admit that the British sense of humor is much better than the German one.

What about the Austrian humor? Viennese are commonly pictured as desperate and blunt, something I wouldn't deny. :o
Austrians have much less humor than Germans, trust me on this one. Honestly though, I find the German humor better than the British one, they have some great comedians.

It is just my opinion, but probably the best sense of humor in the entire Word is the British sense of humor. The Monty Python, Leonard Rositer, Rowan Adkinson, Peter Sellers, Jeremy Clarkson ….

Jeremy Clarkson isn't a comedian - he's an idiot. Very, very unfashionable and much-criticised in Britain now for his anachronistic, misogynist, racist, quasi-fascist and self-centred views.

Probably his worst gaffe was saying on live tv that striking London Underground workers should be taken and shot dead - in front of their own children! What a tw*t!
He had to back-pedal on that one - ¡en seguida!

I don't know why they were striking but to execute them in front of their families.. what a sick mind.

He works for the BBC, the most staid and conservative of the main channels who normally avoid controversial presenters. But his "Top Gear" motoring magazine gets good viewing figures so he's kept on.
I suppose he courts controversy, going along with the famous quotation (can't remember the attribution!) that "There's no such thing as bad publicity - as long as they get your name right!".
His outspoken mouthiness is not to my liking though.

Jeremy Clarkson isn't a comedian - he's an idiot..Maybe, but he has made himself very rich by being an idiot, so there must be many more idiots out there who have supported him.
