My name is Joy, I am from the West Indies and want to practice my Spanish with you.

If you use an exclamation mark, you need it at the beginning and at the end of the sentence.
Also, the 'yo' isn't needed because the present conjugation of the verb 'ser' determines the person.
However, it can be sometimes added for emphasis because generally they're not used unless you want to emphasise the person.

Welcome to the forums, Joy.
In addition to the corrections already given, El Caribe is where you live and you need to correct the person used for 'desear'. You didn't translate 'with you' into Spanish. Any reason why?
