If someone wants to say the other person's command of the French language is not as good as a junior secondary student's, which should be used? Or are these choices natural English?:

-His French doesn't even reach (the) junior secondary level(s).

Your sentence would sound good with or without the 'the' and without the 's' at the end.

His French isn't even at ...
His French isn't up to par with ...
