Honda should be spelled onda. Both are pronounced the same way, but mean entirely different things. It's like the difference between wholly and holy.

Oh, here's one more slight correction: del Estados Unidos should be de Estados Unidos or de los Estados Unidos. :)

My dictionary says it's a sling.
Ok, you're right, but it sounds old-fashioned to me. As something you might find in a history book. I say tirachinas. But that might be only here in Spain.

You mean your job? Or are you referring to Spanish? Si te refieres al español, es cuestión de paciencia y perseverancia. Poco a poco. Rome was not built in a day.;)

"Honda" is the sling type David used against Goliath. It's no more in use (I suppose :D )
For the children, "Tirachinas", as Mari Jose says.
Saludos :D

¿Qué onda?
Means - What's up?
Onda = wave (In what wave length are you?)

I guess the Mexican Spanish slang is killing all of you native Spanards.... I'll try to refrain from using it here.

No, use it, we learn.
Recently I learn Crotalitos "ni maiz palomas", it was fun.
