Upgraded PHP?

http://www.tomisimo.org/idioms/ is giving me a bunch of errors about the deprecation of assigning the return value of new by reference. I would guess that your hosting provider has upgraded the version of PHP used for the site, and that's broken something.

Me too. On the bright side however, it did present me with a new word to learn the meaning of: deprecated. Now to find a use for it in normal speech!
