Are my sentences correct?

-These are editings I've done on the book. For example, on page 8, 'in' should be 'it'. It's a typographical error.

"Editing" is the process of reviewing a text and making changes to it. Individual changes to a text are "edits". In this context you can also say "corrections" or "changes".

Both "on" and "for" are correct in this context. "Of" is not correct in this context.

You can also substitute 'made' for 'done'.

These are (the) edits I've made in ...

I would use 'in the book' instead of 'on' if the book is published/printed and 'on' if the book is being proofed (prior to printing).
