Grandes almacenes

‘A department store’ translates as ‘unos grandes almacenes’, which is plural in Spanish. Does this automatically mean that everything associated with ‘unos grandes almacenes’ needs to be kept in plural as well?

In San Antonio Shopping Centre there is a very big ‘department store’. It’s called “Casa Juan”.
En el Centro Comercial de San Antonio hay unos ‘grandes almacenes’ muy grandes. Se llaman “Casa Juan”.

Would ‘se llama’ be incorrect here?
Also, how would we translate a ‘big’ “department store”. As ‘grande’ is already used, it sounds awkward repeating it.

If you say "grandes almacenes", it's all plural, and the size is already built-in. There is no way to think of a small "gran almacén".
If you say "gran almacén" there is no more conflict with the plural and it will be understood as well.


However, you can get rid of so much trouble by saying "tienda departamental". ;)

En el centro comercial de San Antonio hay una tienda departamental muy grande, que se llama Casa Juan. =)


Edit: By the way, I think in some regions they call these stores "tiendas por/de departamentos".
