¡Hombre!

Hi everyone,

I know that Hombre = Man,
as in (Si se quiere tener un ejemplo de un hombre absolutamente íntegro)

but here is a different context which seems as daily informal use of the word:

¡Hola, Lola!
¡Hombre, Ana! ¿Qué tal?

¡May you help explain it por favor!

It's a common exclamation.

Poli is right; as an exclamation, "¡hombre!" has no more meaning than "hey!". :)
