Hola! Me llamo Bryan. Estoy Spanish 100 estudiante de Southern Connecticut State University.

(now for the english part)
My teacher is using a method called The Silent Way, where she teaches the language without speaking english, and very rarely pronouncing Spanish words.

Part of my responsibilities for this course are to interact with the spanish speaking communities.

¡Hola, Bryan!

¿Qué pretendías decir con "100 student"? Me resultó llamativo.

Un saludo.

¡Qué imágen más raro!

Me parece que "Spanish 100" es el nombre oficial de la clase en la que Bryan estudia.

I agree with Wrholt. In some institutions, "100" is a label for the basic courses.

I think he meant "soy estudiante de Español 100".

Yes, that is what he meant. I decided to lop that part off since the revised sentence would be a bit awkward.

Right, Rusty. It's not a common thing in our countries, so it would have been hard to understand anyway. :)

Thanks for the replies. Yes I am in the entry level spanish class. Level 100 what that is referring to. We have learned numbers, colors, days, and how to describe location and clothing. The last few days have been all about verbs. This is a 5 week class that is intense. It comes to an end tomorrow, and I begin spanish 101 (lvl 2) on monday.
