Hi,

So what I want to say in Spanish is 'It has made me understand HER better as a person who gives advice' and I have come up with this:

Me ha hecho la comprender mejor como una persona que da consejos.

But I was unsure whether I put the 'la' in the correct place - can anyone confirm if I'm right?

Thank you,
Mary

When you have an infinitive, the DO pronoun is attached to its end: "comprenderla".

When there is a conjugated verb, then the pronoun goes before the verb: "Creo que ahora la comprendo mejor". :)
