I was watching the game show "100 Latinos Dijeron" a couple of days ago and the question (to paraphrase) was:

'If you hear noise in your neighbor's house next door what might it mean / what is happening over there?'

One answer in this 'family fued' type of game was:

"Cuchi Cuchi"

Cuchi Cuchi does not come up on Spanishdict.com

I can guess but of course that may mean I'm wrong.

What does "cuchi chuchi" mean?

Thanks.

It's what you think it is.

It's also strongly associated with Charo, the Spanish-American actress, comedian and guitarist; she uses it frequently as part of her public persona.

Perhaps for that context, but not in my country.

Yo sé que "cuchi-cuchi" es una expresión cariñosa entre personas íntimas.

So it could be holding hands, kissing, snuggling but not necessarily to deed itself, and therefore is not "vulgar" or innapropriate to say?

It was on that game show, so I assume it's OK

@Aprendo: It's a TV show that children may watch, so people tend not to be explicit about sexuality issues. They did mean that if you hear noise from the neighbours, one possibility is that they're having sexual intercourse, but they were using a colloquial expression that will be understood in context.
