I'm not sure if the grammar of this paragraph is accurate, can you please check through for mistakes?

Si fuera director cambía las reglas porque un poco de las reglas son estupido y irritante. También, mejoría mi instituto para un ambiente mejor.

English: If I were headteacher, I would change the rules because some of the rules are stupid and annoying. Also, I would improve the school to make a better atmosphere.

Some suggestions for improvement:


Si fuera director cambía (Check your conjugation, this is not Spanish) las reglas porque un poco de (This formula is only used when you have a singular noun like "un poco de agua" or "un poco de sal".), las reglas son estupido y (*) irritante (Gender and number agreement needed). También, mejoría mi instituto para *** (You need a verb in infinitive here so your sentence won't sound fragmentary) un ambiente mejor.

(*) For reasons of euphony, "y" must be changed to "e" when the next word starts with the sound "i".
- We don't say "agujas y hilos", but "agujas e hilos".
- We don't say "lagartijas y iguanas", but "lagartijas e iguanas". :)
