are you saying the milk is bad in Shanghai? about the bad milk that killed some children?
I went to China 3 times and I drank the milk. It wasn't bad until now I guess...I haven't went to China this year. Our relatives live in China.

I wasn't talking about milk, about tofu, fermented, from shanghai, a traditional dish that stinks and looks worse than vintage cheese, but made of aged soyabean custard. Foreigners there used to call it´'Chinese cheese'

Many Asians are lactose-intolerant, that's the best reason to dislike dairy...:banghead::banghead::erm::erm::pizza::cloc k::pinkdaisies:

Oh! that! I ate it before....it smells bad but it's pretty good. Yeah, my dad is lactose-intolerant, but he drinks soy milk. but he can still eat cheese and yogurt and ice cream...guess he isn't lactose-intolerant, but he doesn't drink milk

Cheese founder with sausage.
Melted cheese with sausage.

En EEUU llaman al chorizo "chorizo" porque sausage tiene otro sabor diferente. :)

Jessica,

You can be lactose intolerant in different degrees, your dad probably is not very intolerant. I have to say that after getting used to no dairy in my diet, that helped me a lot to keep fit and slim. Best thing China taught me is to improve my diet.
