Our country has hope that there will be changes, positive changes made. Our country always has hope that things will change for the better with each new president it elects. I hope our country is not disappointed again.

Our nation is in need of repair and I pray to God that this is the "right" warrior to carry us through our battles.

"They" say things have to get really bad in order for "it" to get better. I don't think things can get any worse.

I will forever be looking for .....
the rainbow after the rain
the light at the end of the tunnel
the good in all the bad

Elaina,
In his campaign, he barely made any gaffes. This is pretty rare, because
we are all human and prone to errors. He had some powerful and skillful adversaries: first from society why still has racial divides, then with Hillary Clinton and then with the Republican party.

If the way he conducted himself in the campaign is any indication of what
type of president he will be, we're in for a brighter future.

Sosia,
Las luces (rótulos) de Broadway. Quiero verificar si rótulo is la palabra correcta.
The lights of Broadway, the lights of Las Vegas, the lights of Pickadilly.

Anyways, I feel hopeful that Obama will do his best to deliver. He seems to be a very honest, down-to-earth person who truly understands what it is like to be an average citizen. :)

I am glad he won, but when one is on such a high pedastal there is only one way you can go. Nevertheless, it is a welcome change!

No es fácil traducir "lights of Broadway".

Well here is my two cents worth:

In my opinion, the situation that Obama (or McCain, if he had won) is walking into sucks; one of the worst economic crisises (sp) in American history, (this is not to say the worst) a 'War On Terror', and just general opposition, if his presidency goes wrong it will discourage other minorities, I just hope his presidency is for the best. I believe that having Biden was a very good decision on the foreign relations front and that Obama, himself, is a good choice for the economy.

I took no sides on this particular election, neither of the choices appealed to me, however, Obama was the better choice, in my opinion, and since he will be the next president, he has my full support. (For whatever good its worth.)

LRW. First good night.

Well I'm agree with you, I also think that Obama was the best choice as president of the U.S.A, because my way to think, hi's people young blood, I believe that hi has new ideas for his government, then I think that if hi fulfill all the that hi promised, you and all the people will see, your economic crisis less hard, because nowadays the economic crisis is hard and thought my country my government says that not affect in anything the economic of my country, it's lie, yes and yes it affect a lot of my country more in the thread of the remittance, I know that the situation is hard today, but anyway the crisis is harder because the president Bush, and I'm sorry to the people to say this, but your president finished with all the money and the industry of your country for himself WAR in the Iraq, then I don't agree expensive a lot money for a way that only are killing people in that country, for that reason your country has now a economic crisis, but I have faith that all that will change someday with the new president of the North American, your crisis is my crisis too, please remember your situation will be change soon.

I believe that he has new ideas for his government, then I think that if he fulfills all the that he promised, you and all the people will see, your economic crisis abated, because nowadays the economic crisis is hard and though my country's government says that it does not affect the economy of my country, it's a lie. Now people are defaulting on their credit. I know that the situation is hard today, but anyway the crisis is worse because of president Bush. I'm sorry to say this, but your president finished with all the money and the industry of your country for himself . As for the WAR in the Iraq, I don't agree with that expensive waste money that's only killing people in that country. For that reason your country has now a economic crisis.
