The gender associated with a Spanish word has nothing to do with gender! Instead of noun gender, a more appropriate word would be type. That would have caused a lot less confusion. Our hurdle is to learn what type is associated with each noun. Then, we can match article and adjectives of the same type to each noun.

In your homework, pg. 101 looks great.
On page 102, numbers 6, 9, and 10 are incorrect.
The other pages look OK.

A sweater is usually made out of yarn or wool and is used in the fall (before it gets too cold). It's what you wear before you have to put on a coat because of the cold.
A sweatshirt is what you would wear to the gym to work out in, along with sweatpants.

6. --¿Vas al cine con tu amiga perezosa?
--_No, la trabajador__.

9. --¿Te duele la mano izquierda?
--__No, la derecho____.

10. --¿Te queda bien la falda morada?
--___No, la rosado___.

Rusty please explain what's wrong?

You haven't entirely matched the gender in the answer. You have the correct article, but the adjective must also agree.

Rusty, I believe that Jessica is giving you help above her homework, and I didn't watch to her answer correctly the questions in her homework, look, Jessica, you have made some mistakes in your homework but those mistakes are a few mistakes, you haven't made the change of gender in your answer, because you have putted your answer in gender masculine, and it ain't so, look for example, if you say in English she has a boyfriend, this phrase in English is translate so, Ella tiene un novio, but anyway you don't can to write this phrase of this way, (Ella tiene un novia), if you see and you put attention to the last example, then you can to see that the Novia is gender feminine and it's a wrong, because it'd to be translate as Novio nor Novia, then you need watch the gender in your questions.

Now, I will correct you in you previous post.

6. --¿Vas al cine con tu amiga perezosa?
--_No, con la trabajadora__. Here this practice you didn't add the word WITH that mean in Spanish Con.

9. --¿Te duele la mano izquierda?
--__No, la derecha____.

10. --¿Te queda bien la falda morada?
--___No, la rosada___.

I hope my explain to help you, although I know, it will be of great useful for you.

yes I know :) For the homework, my teacher only checks for completion. She doesn't check for accuracy. The only things that are checked for accuracy are the ones that are translations and mini quizzes and of course tests.

Hmmm, sounds a bit different to me. I'd think she should grade on both completeness and correctness.

sometimes we go over it but she gives us all the points for doing it. It helps your grade actually
For the workbook pages it's all or none. If you do everything you get all 5 points if not you get a 0. We always go over it so you'll be able to make any corrections.
