Good question neo:

fuego - fire in general
incendio - this would be if your house is on fire, or a forest fire (forest fire - incendio forestal)
lumbre - flame or light produced by fire, or fire
llama - flame

also:
fogata - campfire

I don't know if this goes here, but how would you say coals in Spanish?

Mmmm. It would probably be "brasas" or "ascuas", but that can also be wood. According to the RAE (http://www.rae.es/):

Ascua: Pedazo de cualquier materia sólida y combustible que por la acción del fuego se pone incandescente y sin llama.

Brasa: Leña o carbón encendidos, rojos, por total incandescencia.

According to what atnbueno has posted, it would be Ascuas, but I've always heard Brasas. Maybe that because they were always wood coals?

"Ascua" is more generic and I've heard/used "brasas" more frequently.
