What does "contarte" mean exactly? I tried google, but I couldn't find a real definition.
I accidentally wrote "contarte tu respuesta" on my spanish test today. What I meant was "espero tu respuesta".. Such a stupid mistake, ugh!!

The word CONTARTE is used for say I will tell you, for example I'm going to tell you something today, Voy a contarte algo hoy, and the phrase CONTARTE TU RESPUESTA mean, I'm going to telling you, your answer it, for example Hoy te contare mi respuesta. or Hoy te contare tu respuesta, but this last chose ain't almost not used for the people on my country, I can to tell you that the phrase is a wrong because you can't tell someone, his own answer it, for example I can't to tell you a answer yours, because I don't know your answer, I don't know exactly how I can to explain you the phrase but, I tried to tell you of the best way possible.

In case additional clarification is needed, contar is a verb meaning to count or to tell (a story). Te is the indirect object pronoun. When used in this case, they are joined into one word.
