I got all except 3. Here are these 3:
WHICH ELEMENT......
2. ________________ is a bee which has stopped buzzing?
9. ________________ is a question for a Pgh (Pittsburgh) Marathon participant?
17. ________________ is a group of musical brothers and sisters?
I am stumped. Please give hints.
Note: this is not for homework, but I still want to finish it. This is also a fun worksheet.
Here are the others; see if you can get the joke:
1. Barium is a mortician's favorite.
3. Gallium is equivalent to four quarts.
4. Arsenic is sometimes associated with old lace.
5. Wolfranium (now it's called Tonguestun - correct spelling?) is a canine-type in sheep's clothing.
6. Argon tells what's wrong with the following: NA TIGE
7. Silicon describes a convict acting ridiculous.
8. Helium describes what a physician does to his patients.
10. Sulfur is what Sol III named his son.
11. Titanium sank on the high seas on its maiden voyage.
12. Iodine tells what you do when you go to a restaurant.
13. Copper tells whom you call after you've been robbed.
14. Zinc tells where you wash the lunch dishes.
15. Actinium tells what performers do in plays.
16. Bismuth is the capital of North Dakota.
18. Plutonium is Mickey Mouse's dog.
If you are confused, tell me what you are confused about. I will try my best to help you understand.
