Are any of my attempts below viable ways of saying:

If I hadn’t stopped and let the other car go by, I wouldn’t be in this predicament now


Si no hubiera parado y dejara que el otro coche/carro pasara, no estaría en este apuro ahora

Si no hubiera parado y dejado que el otro coche/carro pasara, no estaría en este apuro ahora

Si no hubiera parado y dejado pasar el otro coche, no estaría en este aprieto ahora

If none of these are correct, please supply the correct translation, using the si + conditional construct.

Si no hubiera parado y dejado que el otro coche/carro pasara, no estaría en este apuro ahora :good:

Si no hubiera parado y dejado pasar el* otro coche, no estaría en este aprieto ahora :good:

Excellent! :) Only the first one is wrong. You need the agreement of both actions (here, the past participles) with the auxiliary, because both are necessary for the "condition" to happen.
* In the last sentence, you may also say "dejado pasar al otro coche"; I'd say it like that, but I cannot find a rule for it, so it must be a matter of regional and speaker preferences.
