Can anybody explain when can I use one or the other?
Even so and All the same
exemple
He was always popular with women and even got married twice. ALL THE SAME, the women closest to him were invariably happy.
Why do we use all the same and not even so?

In the case cited, even so may have been used without any change in meaning.
Here, all the same and even so mean 'in spite of that (the fact he was married twice).'
You could have also substituted still, yet, nevertheless, nonetheless, notwithstanding, or however. In any event, just the same, despite that, be that as it may, or regardless would have also fit.
When 'all the same' means unimportant, of no consequence, or irrelevant, 'even so' is NOT a synonym.

In the book, they only admitted all the same as the correct answer.
