In Spanish we have to different kinds of squatting crimes: Allanamiento de morada and ocupación.
Does anybody know the equivalents in ENGLISH?

allanamiento de morada = breaking and entering (the crime of forceful entry)
ocupación = squatting (establish your home on land not owned or on government land, with no payment of rent)
violar propiedad privada, entrar en un lugar sin autoración = trespassing

In allanamiento de morada, is when people live in the house, or it is a second house.
Ocupación is when the owner has more houses or usually a house that belongs to the bank.

The meanings I provided are from dictionaries that I consult. They don't seem to square with what you're asking.
In English, squatting is not a crime, unless it is done on someone else's property (that is trespassing).
Trespassing is, as far as personal property is concerned, considered a crime.
