How does that work?
For example:
I find him attractive.
He was found guilty.

I'd probably say something like this:
He was found guilty. - Lo hallaron culpable.
I find him attractive. - Lo veo atractivo.

So it varies by situation?
Is it wrong to say, for example,
Ellos encontraron al acusado culpable
?

Sorry for the slow response :)
I'm not a native speaker, but to me encontraron sounds more like physicaly finding something/someone and hallaron has a more figurative feeling too it (although it can also be used as a sinonym for encontrar.)

Native here.
The two particular cases could be:
He was found guilty. - Lo declararon/hallaron culpable.
I find him attractive. - Lo considero/encuentro atractivo.

Thanks for the expert help atnbueno. Nice to have input from a native speaker :)
