I know that Napoleon Bonaparte was the one who made the Napoleonic Codes and sold the Louisiana Purchase to us (the USA). He was also the one brought changes to France, and was exiled twice. He also was an excellent general, but he was defeated at Moscow and Waterloo, proving that he was not invincible.

Who was Louis Napoleon? Why was his name similar to Napoleon Bonaparte (is it like the names usually similar like Louis and George?)? What was his accomplishments? When did he rule? I know that Louis XVIII ruled after Napoleon.
