I am so confused with these puzzles! Can anyone solve them? It's not homework. It's just for fun. :) I want to see if anyone is very good at puzzles, because I'm not.

MIXAGRAMS
Each line contains a 5-letter word and a 4-letter word that have been mixed together (the order of the letters in each word has not been changed). Unmix the two words on each line and write them in the spaces provided. When you're done, find a two-word answer to the clud by reading down the letter columns in the answers.

CLUE: They're in a lather

B E L S O N U S E = _ _ _ _ _ + _ _ _ _
S H E L L P O U N = _ _ _ _ _ + _ _ _ _
G U R A I V D E A = _ _ _ _ _ + _ _ _ _
S L Y O R S U P E = _ _ _ _ _ + _ _ _ _

NINE FLOORS
Determine who lives on which floor by these clues: Susan lives 1 floor below Pam. Pat lives 3 floors below John. Tim lives 4 floors below Ted. Jill lives 5 floors below Dave. Peter lives 6 floors below Pam. Assume that every person lives on a different floor.

Floor 9 __________
8 _____________
7 _____________
6 _____________
5 _____________
4 _____________
3 ______________
2 _____________
1 ______________

WORD WIT
A certain 6-letter word might be defined as "zealous supporter". If the word's second letter (an O) is changed to an I (as in "India"), it becomes a new word that might be defined as "zealous protester". What are the two words?

_ O _ _ _ _ and _ I _ _ _ _

WORD WIT
The past tense of most English verbs ends in the letter ED. What common four-letter verb, whose last letter is D but whose third letter is not E, is spelled the same way in its present tense and past tense?

_ _ _ D
