In the U.S. we use lucha libre for Mexican-style masked wrestling. There's
really no better term for it.

there`s a figther called rey misterios , he is a mexican boy. triple h is from usa.

I don't like Rey Misterio beucase is very small, I prefer the fighter named Undertaker.

I agree, although not everyone is familiar with the term lucha libre. Otherwise it might be masked wrestling.

I don't like Rey Misterio beucase because he is very small, I prefer the fighter wrestler named Undertaker.

I believe he did mean it, and was referring to WWF, and not the person(s).

But I may be wrong... :)

Not all wrestlers in Mexican Lucha Libre are masked, are they? I think, in passing, I've seen a couple of "luchadores" who were not masked. Latin Lover is not masked.

My point is .... why would it be called Mexican-style masked wrestling if not all wrestlers are masked?

That was my definition, and I'm no expert in these matters. I certainly think that what gives Mexican wrestling the phenominal pop culture force are the creative masks used by some of los luchadores

I agree with you.....was it all started by Blue Demon or El Santo, do you know? The mask wearing, I mean.
