This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word (http://daily.tomisimo.org/) for January 10, 2009

etiqueta - feminine noun (la) - label, tag. Look up etiqueta in the dictionary (http://www.tomisimo.org/dictionary/spanish_english/etiqueta)

A veces la gente nos pone etiquetas aún cuando no nos conoce.
Sometimes people put labels on us even when they don't know us.

If I can say, No lo conosco, I have write, I don't know him, or they don't know me, they don't know us, they, don't know you, you don't know me, I didn't know you.

I don't know, I thought, I should say, I don't meet you.

If I say, "No lo conozco," I've said, "I don't know him."?
Correct. I don't know him. = No lo conozco.

I haven't met him. = No lo conocí.
We haven't met. = No nos conocimos.
I know that kid. = Conozco a ese niño.
I met him at school. = Lo conocí en el colegio.
