This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word (http://daily.tomisimo.org/) for January 11, 2009

cerca - feminine noun (la) - fence. Look up cerca in the dictionary (http://www.tomisimo.org/dictionary/spanish_english/cerca)

Si caminas para allá junto a la cerca, llegarás a donde termina mi terreno.
If you walk that way next to the fence, you will come to where my property ends.

Note: "cerca" also means "near", in which case it is an adverb.
