Hola a todos,

In a scene in the movie Carne de horca a gypsy woman is very angry at Juan Pablo for turning her down and she says:

"Maldito seas! Te has de ver perseguido y hambriento como perro sin amo."

Am I correct in thinking that "Te has de ver perseguido y hambriento..." expresses a wish and means something like I want/wish you to be chased and hungry like a dog without a master?

The scene in question starts at 6.41.

Thank you.

haber de (+ infinitivo) = should be, must be, have to be (+ past participle)
This is not a wish, but a curse.

«Te has de ver perseguido y hambriento ...» = "You should be pursued/hounded/harassed/persecuted and deprived/starved ..."
