There is a song (siguiriya) in the movie Carne de horca at 03.48.

As I understand, "duquelas" is an instance of calo language and means something like sorrows, griefs or sufferings.

But what does "Serrana" mean here? Is it simply a female name? Or is it the word that denotes a female person from Serranía de Ronda?

At the very beginning of the movie there is a song about the bandit Lucero that says: Lucero, el ladrón valiente, El mejor de Andalucía.... Y por eso le llamaban el Rey de la Serranía.

Or maybe "Serrana" means something completely different?

Among some Spanish speakers, serrano/a means someone who lives in the mountains, and can be somewhat insulting like hillbilly in English. I don't know if it has that meaning in Spain.

I can't make out most of the lyrics, but I'm hearing there

Qué xx-xx me siento

I'm pretty sure it's not serrana not only because the way it sounds, but also because a male guitarrist and singer wouldn't have applied a feminine adjective to himself in something filmed in the early fifties and set in the 19th century.

Taking the previous verse as you say you understand it I might widely speculate the term used is rana and the two verses mighta coulda woulda mean

Playing has spent me out
I feel so inadecuate and a phoney

but this doesn't match the little I understand of the rest of the lyrics

so, I give up!

Is it that impontant that you can transcribe what most native speakers find unintelligible?

Well, the first time I listened to this song in the movie, I could make out just a few words. Most of the song was unintelligible to me initially.

When I look at the lyrics while listening to the song I can more or less make out "Qué duquelas más negras", "Serrana yo siento" and the word "cuando." But I fail to hear "se quedan a solas conmigo."

Although I might well be wrong, but I dont think "fatiga del artista mientras canta" is the intended meaning in the song from the movie.
