What would be the best work for tickets?
My spanish friends say that you can say tickets, the dictionary says boletos. Who is right?

"Boletos" sounds american Spanish. Here in Spain it would be "entrada/s".

En México, es común oír "boletos", pero también se entiende entradas y aún tickets... pero ticket normalmente se refiere a un recibo o comprobante de compra.

I just found "tique" is correct (although I've never heard it used):
tique
(Del ingl. ticket)
1. m. Vale, bono, cédula, recibo.
2. m. Billete, boleto.
Also, certain uses (like "parking ticket") have their specific words ("multa (de aparcamiento)")

Interesting, was tique in the RAE? In Mexico they often spell it "ticket". :)

Yes, that's where I got those definitions from, the RAE online dictionary.

Is "entradas" a common way to say tickets? Would it be understood everywhere?
