How do you say "I could use..." Or "I could do with..."

For example:

"I could use a little help here"

"She could use some encouragement"

"I could do without that music"

"He could do with losing some weight"

Is there an expression for those things in Spanish?

Literal translations are not always available. Your best bet would be something like the following.

"I could use a little help here" - Necesito un poco de ayuda con esto.
"She could use some encouragement" - Ella necesita que la animen un poco.
"I could do without that music" - Yo estaría bien sin esa música.
"He could do with losing some weight" - El necesita bajar tantito de peso.

Wait and see what other suggestions people have.

You're welcome. Others will probably have good suggestions too.

Spanish (from Spain) version:

"I could use a little help here" - Me iría bien algo de ayuda con esto.
"She could use some encouragement" - No le iría mal algo de ánimo.
"I could do without that music" - (Yo) podría pasar sin esa música.
"He could do with losing some weight" - Le iría bien perder algo de peso.

As you can see, I'd go with the "iría bien/mal" solution.
