This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word (http://daily.tomisimo.org/) for March 21, 2009

escapatoria (feminine noun (la)) — escape, flight, getaway, loophole, way out. Look up escapatoria in the dictionary (http://www.tomisimo.org/dictionary/spanish_english/escapatoria)

El gerente me vió y ya no tengo escapatoria. Tendré que ir a la junta.
The manager saw me and now I have no way out. I'll have to go to the meeting.

I checked the dictionary and I saw many translations for the verb to escape. How/When should I use each one?

Think the best you can in English and write what you want to say.

Then try your Spanish and post. You will get corrected. :-)

I have the feeling you will do it well.
