I came here because I wanted to eat the food.
Vine aquí porque quise comer la comida. :good:
(Maybe "probar la comida" would sound better)

I came here for the food.
Vine aquí por la comida.:good:

I don't understand the reason for his decision.
:good:
Variation: No entiendo por qué tomó esa decisión.

They left home because of their parents.
:good:

They left because of their parents.
Salieron (in this case "se fueron" would work better) a causa de sus padres. :good:

Because you were sick, you stayed at home.
Como estabas enferma, te quedaste en casa. :good:

The cat is annoyed/irritated because the children are bothering her.
:good:
Variation: "...porque los niños la están molestando"

The children need discipline because of their behavior.
For style reasons I'd like to rather propose "debido a su mal comportamiento", to make it a wider concept.

The children need to be disciplined because of their bad behavior.

The dog is growling because the cat is looking at him.
(Mexicans would rather say "mirándolo") :good:

Umbrellas are needed because of the rain.
* "los" is not necessary, but not incorrect.

"Porque" works in most of the cases, but the use of alternatives is correct in your sentences. :)

I'm doubtfulness in this text.

They left home because of their parents.

I guess that in the part of their could to take the phrase cause as in the translation at Spanish causa.

Then I guess that it could to be They left home to cause of their parents.

I don't know if am in the correct about it in, but just came in mind the idea about that change in the sentence.

I'm doubtfulness in (La palabra "doubtfulness" es un sustantivo, no es adjetivo. Debes usar el (¿la?) frase "doubtful of") this text.

They left home because of their parents.

I guess that in the part of their you could to take the phrase cause as in the translation at Spanish causa.

Then I guess that it could to be They left home to cause of their parents.

I don't know if am in the correct about it in, but (Move aquí)just came into my mind the idea about that change in the sentence. (Move a...)

Just some corrections.
