enfermizo (adjective) — sickly, unhealthy, weak, infirm, morbid. Look up enfermizo in the dictionary (http://www.tomisimo.org/dictionary/spanish_english/enfermizo)
El niño es muy enfermizo, siempre padece algún mal.
The boy is very sickly, he's always suffering from some ailment.

The difference is: a person who is "sickly" gets ill very easily, constantly. Someone who is prone to becoming ill.
e.g. She was a sickly child and missed out a lot on her schooling. i.e. she was constantly getting ill and missed school a lot.
Someone who is sick, is ill but it's not a regular state to be in for that person.
e.g. Johnny came down with the flu and was sick all last week. I ate something that disagreed with me and I was sick.
Hope that helps :)

Does that same distinction carry over to enfermo/enfermizo?
