"me da mucho apuro lo mal que te traté..."
A lo mejor vergüenza, pero no estoy seguro.:hmm:

Sí. Apuro = prisa (rush, urgent, hurry - en este lado del charco)

Darle apuro = to be embarrassed
Estar en apuros = to be in a difficult situation/predicament
Sacarle del apuro = to get someone out of trouble/a predicament
Ponerse en apuros/un apuro = to get oneself into trouble/a predicament
¡Qué apuro! = How embarrassing!

Algunas veces los dos de las palabras estan muy similar, y otros veces sons muy differenté. En este caso, si estavas "ashamed" el infracíon es mas mejor, como, un grandé collision debido de aciones estupido. Por "embarrassed" es cuando tal vez, caídes soda en el enteríor mientras manejando con su novia nueva.
