Using the subjunctive in the secondary clause indicates that you aren't sure. If you truly believe what you're stating, use the indicative.
The rules governing the subjunctive are explained in several threads. It isn't always used after the conjunction que. :)

The first one you are using the words (Que ir)

Just in the second one you aren't using the (Que ir), therefore you are using the sentence ( Porque ir)

You in both phrases are using different alternatives in the sentences.
