Creo que es una profesión muy honorable. Creo que el trabajo que ellos/ellas hacen es muy importante pero se toma una persona con muchos (guts) para hacer ese trabajo.
Yo respeto esa profesión mucho.

to have guts = tener agallas, ser muy valiente :)

Es correcto?
Sí las dos frases son correctas, pero usaría requerir or necesitar:
Se requiere de una persona con muchas agallas...
Se necesita una persona con muchas agallas...

How many fireman have you seen during your life?
I asking you this, because it's result very interesting if you know as they work daily saving the people everyday and every years till the end year, when you're taking a delicious Christmas dinner, and they don't, then How do we appreciating their work?
Now I want to you doing a little reflexion about them.
Do you believe to them?
Do you really know as work them?
Can you opt for that work someday?
May you help to people during a accident as them?
Do you like to be in the fireman's department?
Would you like save people?
Then if you answer this question and in the moment when you're doing it, you think (Ok, I believe that their work is very important for the folk and I mustn't dissapointened sometimes when they doing protest through of the street asking you or the government more money for their families.
Then, Do you really appreciate your work?
I hope you can answer those question of the way more sincerely than you can doing it.
As said before a partner.
They've guts for doing the they doing.

Mi amigo mejor es un bombero. Es un trabajo muy interesante mucho de vez. Prefiero ser un policia, pero tengo mucho respeto para los bomberos.

Unfortunately, four firemen have died in a fire in Spain. I have two cousins working as firemen.

I believe that a person who dedicates his life to save another people is a hero, therefore, I believe that kind to people needs to have haughtiness inside their hart.
