how do you say in English " Estar con los papeles en regla" en situación reglada " Thanks in advance.

I interpret this as: to have everything in order/ to be prepared/ (literally to have you papers in order)
If this is not the meaning, please clarify what it means.

To have los papeles en regla means that you´re a regular/ legal inmigrant.
