Hola ¿cómo se diría en español, "how fast are we going"
¿Cuánto velocidad (tenemos)?
¿A qué velocidad estamos moviendo?
Ambos son torpes me parecen
A pesar de tratar todavía estoy confundido:thinking:

A cuánta velocidad nos movemos o a qué velocidad nos movemos is the same for me.
Cuánta velocidad tenemos disponible would be different.
Does it help you any? :)

I would say something like ¿A cuanto vamos? or ¿A qué velocidad vamos?

To poke means atizar.
Chileno meant to use pick (as in picked Bob's brain) but in error used poke.

No. I meant poke, but I should've used head instead of brains... :D
I wasn't using my head...nor my brains. :o

how fast are we going?
The generic way to say it would be "¿Qué tan rápido vamos?". If you're traveling in some type of vehicle and you want to know how fast you're going in terms of mph/kph, then I agree with the others: "¿A cuánto vamos?".

In Spain we don't use "¿Qué tan rápido vamos?" (it sounds strange to me), but "¿a qué velocidad vamos?".

We've more choices in words and sentences here in Mexico instead of Spain, I could to see, you don't have much choices anyhow there.;)
We yes used the sentence (Que rapido vamos)
Sincerely yours.

Yes we use this sentence (expression) (Que rapido vamos)

Yes, this is something I have realized as well.. :)
When I was starting to learn Spanish a few months ago I was happily using the words 'lindo/a', 'hermoso/a', 'chicito/a' etc because I had learned them when I was in Mexico. So feeling confident in those at least I started mentioning them to my newly acquired Spanish friends, only then to find they told me they don't use them in Spain. :(
Which is a shame because I think especially in Mexico I came across somany cute & great words! :D

Well, I think you use some sentences and we use another ones. Think that we are far away and languages evolve. Anyway, I don't think Spain Spanish is poor at all, just different.
We do say ¡Qué rápido vamos! (exclamation). But we don't say ¿Qué tan rápido vamos? (question). There's a small difference ;)

Yes, I got it but in my country simply doesn't make the different between them.

Is it the same asking?
¿Qué rápido vamos?
and
¿Qué tan rápido vamos?
I don't use "¿qué tan rápido vamos?" but I understand this sentence perfectly. I'd understand "¡Qué rápido vamos!" as an exclamation, because I say it, but never as a question "¿Qué rapido vamos?"
