La posición del complemento indirecto

Hola, ¿Cuál es el más común lugar para poner la frase? ¿Dónde yo debería poner la frase?

(1.A su padre) Bob le dio (2.a su padre) un coche (3.a su padre):good:

Usualmente lo escribo al fin, o número tres , pero quisiera saber dónde lo escribís

¿Creí que el "a personal " refiere sólo al objeto directo (cuando sea una persona)? Por ejemplo:

Ví a mi amiga en la ciudad ayer.

En tu frase, ¿me parece que 'el coche' sera el objeto directo, y que 'a su padre' sera el objeto indirecto? (¿la persona a quien algo se regala?). O es que he malentendido la regla de 'a personal'? :thinking:

Tengo una pregunta sobre este tema también. He visto que se utiliza el 'a personal' con respecto a las mascotas o los animales específicos (aunque no por los animales en general). ¿Es correcto?

Es cuestión de énfasis. Pero, bueno, el número tres me suena raro.

Para mí el número 2 es más correcto que el número 3 pero al mismo tiempo, creo que 2 y 3 son correctos.

@Bob, I changed the title of this thread to La posición del complemento indirecto, because that is what you're talking about. The indirect object is always preceded by the preposition 'a' or 'para'. This preposition should not be confused with the personal 'a' that precedes the direct object (as EmpanadaRica pointed out).

The indirect object can go in any of the positions you indicated.

Here the 3. option is the most used (by far) but it's like pjt33 said, what you say first has, in general, more "impact"
when you hear "un coche a tu padre" you picture in your mind the car, and then you give it to someone, in this case, a father. The other way you picture a father, and then you give something to him, in this case, a car.
This explanation is very informal and inacurrate, in theory and in general use take in account they are all the same, but I like to picture it like way.
