Hola tengo dudas sobre el uso de esa forma y os agradeceré si me explicáis. ¡Gracias por adelantado amigos!:)

Creo entenderlo así

Habría habido
There would have been

Nunca he conocido dos iguales consecutivos verbos (pero conjugados diferentes) tienen razón

Si hubieras llegado a tiempo con las compras, habría habido comida en la fiesta.
If you would have gotten here on time with the things you were supposed to buy, there would have been food at the party.

Not a very good example, but hopefully it gets the point across.

There would have been = Habría sido o estado

Habría habido = There would have had...

Does that make sense?

I have had = yo he tenido o habido

I had had = yo había tenido o habido

Makes sense?

Gracias por el ejemplo :)

Una pregunta, ¿se puede decir habría estado en lugar de habría habido?

There would have been = habría habido / habría estado / habría sido:confused:

¡gracias!

All three of them mean "would have been".

Habría sido bonito si no hubiera llovido en la boda.
It would have been nice if it wouldn't have rained during the wedding.

Si hubiéramos avisado que veníamos a su casa, habría estado aquí.
If we would have let him know we were coming to his house, he would have been here.

Si hubiéramos escombrado el patio, habría habido más espacio para que los niños jugaran.
If we would have cleaned the back yard, there would have been more space for the children to play.

In some variations of Spanish, they often substitute "hubiera" for habría, but many consider this "wrong" even though the usage is widespread:

Si hubiéramos escombrado el patio, hubiera habido más espacio para que los niños jugaran.

Muchas gracias finalmente entiendo el español bien y se hace más fácil para mi construir las oraciones en el cabeza:)

El aprender a través de ver ejemplos es una buena manera de aprender.

Hey Bob, check out this link:

Here's an excerpt:

PERFECT TENSES:
ha habido -- there has/have been
había habido -- there had been
habrá habido -- there will have been
habría habido -- there would have been
haya habido -- "that there may/will be"
hubiera habido -- "that there had been"

I've a question for you David.

In your sentence where you wrote the word Habria Habído really it would be better Hubíera habido.

I hope your comments.

In your sentence where you wrote the word Habria Habído really it would be better Hubíera habido.

Por eso escribí:

Si hubiéramos escombrado el patio, habría habido más espacio para que los niños jugaran.
If we would have cleaned the back yard, there would have been more space for the children to play.

In some variations of Spanish, they often substitute "hubiera" for habría, but many consider this "wrong" even though the usage is widespread:

Si hubiéramos escombrado el patio, hubiera habido más espacio para que los niños jugaran.

En fin, "si hubiera x, hubiera y" se usa mucho, pero lo correcto es "si hubiera x, habría y".
