Translation for "receloso", I'm not too sure its "zealous", any suggestions???

The dictionary has a couple of suggestions for receloso:

1 receloso ADJ fearful ADJ
2 receloso ADJ mistrustful ADJ
3 receloso ADJ shy ADJ
4 receloso ADJ suspicious ADJ

sosia can probably offer some good suggestions too.

The meaning would also be different depending on the context. Maybe you can post a sample sentence with the word in it, and I can translate based on that usage.

I would say distrustful or mistrustful , but my english knowledge it's deporable.
I can only tell you if it's well used in a spanish text but suspicious/fearful are also OK. In some context also "forewarned". zealous sure not, that's were "celoso".
