Thrifty

I'd like to communicate teh word "thrifty" I've seen codo and tacaño, but I'm not sure if those are right. Any help?

barato / bargain is how I would have said it. (but I'm not sure either)

Person: ahorrador, frugal, mirado, prudente (always in a money context)
Not polite: (pejorative)
person: tacaño, sórdido, mezquino, miserable, roñoso

a good price
Place: económico, barato, asequible
a very good price (discount)
tirado, rebajado, módico, ganga, ocasión, saldo, chollo

What about cuidadoso? that would have been my next choice.

cuidadoso (for a person) it's also OK
