Hi, I'm Beck. :D I'm a junior in high school and retaking second year Spanish. I've failed the class last year, but I have an A now. I hope this year to not only keep my grade up but to become fluent in the language. I don't know much about the culture, but I love the food, and I'm enthusiastic about learning lots more. It's cool to have found a website where I can improve my skills. :) Nice to meet all of you!

Me llamo Beck, soy de Nebraska, tengo diez y seis años. Mi español es muy horrible, lo siento. :yuck:

Hello, Beck. Welcome :)

Dieciséis (todo junto). Del 1 al 30 los números se escriben juntos, después se separan (once, quince, diecisiete, veinticuatro, veintinueve; treinta y uno, cuarenta y dos, etc.). Maybe it helps :)

Bienvenida. I'm pretty horrible at Spanish, too. I can count and sing the days of the week! :whistling:

There's a DS game called "My Spanish Coach" that's okay (I haven't tried that one specifically, but all the coach games are the same), and you can also get Rosetta Stone. The latter is based on language immersion, so it basically throws you right into things and you have to figure it out from there - you know, like you did with your native language when you were a baby. Seems to have worked okay back then, right? =P
